Solar Panels on the wee house

Boys on the roof discuss the Solar Panels! Day 1.

Today is day  that the Solar Panels start going on my roof of the wee house, the weather has held and the boys are busy on the roof, fitting the frame for the panels and the electricity converter inside. It is a two-day job so I was away playing golf at Hopeman with some friends and had a superb day in the sun. On the way home I visited Wendy, who recently lost her husband Eric and we had a great chat at her house. On the way out she took me to the wee orchard and I was allowed to fill up with beautiful apples and plums an incredible crop of fruit from the trees, fantastic.

The response from the article in the RAF News on Lockerbie has been very interesting and a few people have been in touch, most of the emails have been supportive and it is good to see things discussed in the open. My friend John is now down to 2 Munros left, he climbed Sgurr Mor yesterday in great weather.Hopefully it will be down to one after Thursday. I must get my kit ready for the trip to Seanna Braigh  where we plan to go on Thursday it is a lovely hill up North past Bonar Bridge.
