Three of us went to Grotto Canyon today as Dan and Ned dropped Dave off in Calgary as he flies back tonight, He has had a good trip I think, despite the heavy snowfall. Jocky and Geoff had a fun afternoon at Grotto and we left a bit later as the boys were out in town last night, so they had a late rise. There were a few on the main fall so Dave and Jocky climbed the mixed line a strenuous piece of climbing as a lot of the ice has gone, I think they enjoyed it. It was a dull day today but once the crowds went the ice was fine and the boys enjoyed a bit of fun on Grotto Falls which was still all there. A fun day out and Dave and Sue picked us up and a hot tub at the end of the day eased the old body. What a life we have.

We hope to head of tomorrow away from Canmore and I will go with them back up to Louise and stay at the Alpine Club. There is a local holiday on this week so accommodation is hard to get so we have had to book. We took Sue and Dave out after Dan and Ned came back from the airport into Canmore and had a Brazilian BBQ really great meal, the stars are out and it is a nice night, though pretty mild. In all a fun day.
