If there is a shortage of water in England I doubt there is in Scotland, I met Noah in Aviemore he was building an Arc! It seemed to rain a fair bit pretty heavy at regular intervals but such is life. We managed to get out between showers for a wee walk in Rothiemurcus forest in between showers, it was fairly quiet and a bonnie place to be at Loch an Eilein near Aviemore. The mist was hanging low on the hills but such an enjoyable short walk amongst the great trees and hills. The car park cost £1.50 each! I was going over to Fort William but the forecast is still very poor so will save the fuel for another day and get some sun and views. It was still good to get out and enjoy a wee wander, but please can we have some sun!
It was a sad weekend as there has been a huge search for a missing 16 year old girl near Inverness. Mountain rescuers searching for a missing teenager yesterday found a body in woods near her Easter Ross home.
While police had yet to formally identify the body last night, it is believed to be that of Moyra-Liz As-Chainey, aged 16 who had been missing from Edderton since Wednesday morning. This is a real tragedy for the family and friends that someone so young has died. My thoughts are with the family and all those involved in the search, the Police, rescue teams and all other agencies.
