The Dalai Lama visits Scotland this week and there seem a bit of embarrassment by some members of the government. To me this here is a man who has lost his country and his people are under the rule of the Chinese. I was lucky to visit Tibet in 2001 and saw the changes under the Chinese occupation, this is mostly forgotten now as the British government needs to trade with the Chinese the new superpower. It is an incredible thing that the world accepts some types of misuse of power, depending who and what they are and their place in the world. Have a thought for the Tibetans a really great people who are still occupied by the Chinese?
The Lhasa Palace in Tibet a place where all Tibetans regard as the Holy city and the Chinese MIG, completely out of place in this wonderful place. A reminder to all the Tibetans of the occupation of their country, forgotten by most of the world! Sometimes we live in a crazy world?
