All the best to everyone in the Celtman Triathlon at Torridon especially number 44!

Young Ryan the pride of Torridon on a training day on Beinn Eighe,Ryan  is in the race and we all wish him luck. The poor stag stopped for a rest!

Off early to help with Celtman at Torridon, getting a lift to Torridon with Ned Kelly and Brent Craig. We are all helping Torridon Mountain Rescue with the mountain stage on Beinn Eighe, please let there be no midges or incidents.   Hope to see Ryan number 44 – on his journey and wish him well plus a few others that I will know in the race. Have fun and be safe!

Ryan in training mode for Celtman!

How can you swim 4.5 k in open water, then cycle 200 k and then run 40k over two huge rugged hills, sounds like a normal Saturday for me in my youth? I think there may be a party at the end at Torridon as we will be off the hill fairly late we will have look in and find out. I hope to get some photos of the day, so the blog may be late on Sunday!

Ryan’s kit for the Celtman all ready to go! Get that bike out of the front room Ryan!

I had a visit from Terry Moore and his lovely wife Gillian who was on a wee break to Scotland and we had a visit to Surradale Castle to visit Wendy Hughes and had a superb lunch. Great to see them all Terry is recovering from an operation in his knee, not bad after nearly 50 years of hills only one operation! He is looking forward  it being fixed and him back on the rock and hills again.

Ryan – number 44!

Have a fun weekend and I hope the weather is a bit better than the forecast! It is raining in Burghead as we leave, it could be a long wet day for all concerned.
