Wander in Cairngorms – bonny day

Away early for a wander in the Cairngorms, the road was a bit icy and the temperatures were low. There were a few climbing, the path was icy on the way but a lovely day with blue skies. Met a Cairngorm MRT veteran in the car park so I was in good hands with Donnie. We had a great bleather on the way in, war stories all the way . There were a few climbing in the Coire but it was fairly quite, one pair on the the Mirror, another on  Fingers Ridge and a pair heading to Pygmy ridge. The snow looked a thin covering but the ice was building up nicely. When we headed out and we met some more friends from the Moray Mountaineering Club and Chris from Burghead on the way off. Also met 3 girls looking for the Tarmachan cafe in the Corrie. I am off to Inverness for a winter BBQ!
