Missing Hillwalker if seen contact the Police please!

Police say they are increasingly concerned for the safety and well-being of a keen hillwalker who did not turn up for work yesterday.

Northern Constabulary said Clive Dennier’s employers at the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald reported him missing.

Journalist Mr Dennier, 50, of Inverness, is known to go walking, and police appealed for sightings of him or his car.

A Northern Constabulary spokesperson said: “He drives a silver Volkswagen Polo, registration number SX54 CXD, and the vehicle is particularly distinctive as it is missing its hub caps.

“Police are continuing inquiries into his disappearance and have spoken to friends and colleagues in relation to places Clive may have gone, given he is a keen and experienced walker.

“Searches have been carried out at car parks in areas he has been known to walk in previously, but at this time there have been no sightings of the vehicle.”

Anyone who has seen Mr Dennier or his vehicle is asked to contact police on 101.
