These photos are from Eric Hughes RIP who was a big part of the renovation of the Memorial in June 1985 at the Assynt Anson Crash. I am sure this was in June and some relatives visited the site which is 2- 3 hour walk into a remote part of Assynt.

It was a great thing to do in June 1985  and these are fairly unique photos of the event.

As I said I am sure that  a few relatives made it to the site  and this could be one placing the hand made crosses at the memorial.
