I have been sorting out my gear for my wee trip to the North West tomorrow I am up in Elphin all being well on the North West of Scotland. Why does it take so long to sort gear, what to take, what not? It is about an hour North from Ullapool but even though the weather looks variable (awful)I will still go I need a a break and this area is a joy to be in whatever the weather. I am hoping to meet up with a few friends and enjoy the solitude of this incredible place.
