Little Wyvis under attack

Little Wyvis – a lovely area another nail in the Coffin?


One that seems to have dropped a little below the radar is the 14 turbines application for the Carn Gorm wind farm by PI Renewables. Fourteen turbines on the western flanks of Ben Wyvis although the application totally ignores the Munro and refers only to Little Wyvis. It is just 45m lower than daughter of the Ben. The iconic Ben is under attack from all sides and in this case there are few local residents to fight it. Nearest habitation is Garve which is described as 4km away. Already smarting from the approvals of Corriemollie, Lochluichart and Lochluichart extention, there is probably little enthusiasm to contest yet another application.
