Fun day now off to Schiehallion on the way to a party.

I had a great game of golf today at Hopeman with a few friends from Newtonmore, we had a magic day in the sun.  It is great life and does not slow down and I am off to a party in Tayport for a good friends 50 th party. On the way I hope to stop off and have a walk on the hill on the way.I hope to climb Schiehallion.  It is one of the most well-known mountains in Scotland and is supposed to be one of the easiest hills to climb especially on a fine summers day. It is well known as well as it has a grand conical appearance when looking from Loch Rannoch. I have done it on several occasions so it will be a busy hill on the weekend. We used to tie it in with some climbing nearby at Dunkeld as it is a short day. There will be no rush today and hopefully it will not ne to busy.  I may go for a wander to the cliffs and see the climbers. It will be warm again so please take care if out and about in the sun! I hear that the weather may change soon.

The Hills are very dry carry lots of water

I was climbing Ben More recently and came across a small grouping of aircraft parts which I now discovered came from Viscount G-AOHI. The official report mentions that the wreckage was discovered by the mountain rescue team the day after the crash. Do you have any information on the search and who conducted it?
