It was a lovely day and after doing some admin in Elgin as the local paper was full of the Sea King story we headed of to the local cliff at Cummingston with Pete and Steve. Hopefully it will have all blown over but maybe the other Flights of Sea Kings will not have the same hassle as RAF Lossiemouth, sorry but I did have to have my say. I suppose that is my military funeral gone now!
I managed a short route and it made my day. What a great place Cummingston is in the sun, the tide was in it was cold at times but we followed the sun, I loved it. I did not do much very tired but to be out on the rock climbing badly in the sun was fun. It will be my last time for a while as today I am away for an operation in Aberdeen hence the very early start. I was just starting to feel a bit better to, I left Pete and Steve to climb and drove back home very tired after only a little exercise. It was just something very easy to start but it was magic to be back on the rock. Pete heads South today after his trip up North having had to put up with my moaning and then me with his tales of daring do on the ice and hills. Pete is now into Mountain Biking in a big way and if you need a man to teach you all the skills have a look at Pete Greening on his website?
It was great to be out even for a short climb, I wonder how long it will take to get back in action? Thanks Pete and Steve for a great afternoon in the sun. I must go as Al is picking me up and dropping me into Aberdeen, thanks mate.
