From Lochaber MRT

“Anyone heading onto the mountains this weekend please make sure that you are properly equipped for winter and be able to navigate and know how to use the gear. Ice axes and crampons are essential – the rubber grannie grippers are no use for mountaineering. Don’t depend on phone apps. We still have full on winter conditions and we would like a quiet Easter so that we can get roll our eggs!”

Last night also on Lochaber MRT.

2013 any hr any day

From Lochaber  MRT –  Looks like we might use up all the new SAR budget before Easter Weekend as we are all out again with Rescue 951 looking for two climbers stuck on Castle Ridge!.
