Up this morning at 7 had a look outside , it was dry and the rivers had Receded but still very high. There was small patches of snow at the bothy and the snow line on the mountains was about 800m . Couldn’t cross the river so headed up to the small hill nearby where there was a track that took me down to Glen Tilt, got across the bridge where the Tarf water entered but at the crossing point for the track up to Fealar Lodge it was far to deep and fast flowing , nothing else for it but to head upstream and after 2 miles found a point to cross , big of rerouting , over a small hill and a track down to the lodge . Took a boggy track from here all the way to the high point below Carn an Righ dropped my heavy bag here and a out and Bach to the clear summit , same again but went further along the track before heading up onto the ridge and onto Glas Tulaichean which was also clear but extremely windy. Picked up my bag and headed up to the 986 top and onto the top of Beinn Lutharn Mhor . Along the NE ridge till I found a suitable place to descend safely to the bealach then loads of peat hags to cross and eventually the final summit of the day Carn Bhac. Took the SW ridge down and picked up a track which took me down to Altanour Lodge where I had hidden my tent on Friday luckily it was still there , unfortunately the mice had got to Penny’s food and had half of it. Got the tent up just as the rain started and now inside having a well deserved brew, will share my tea with (TWD). Job done , very long day today.
