Enjoyable Chat in Hopeman last night.

I had an enjoyable night in Hopeman at the local Church Group, lovely people and interesting night.  Today I am away to Ayr to speak in my Dad’s old church I am speaking in the Church so that will be a special night for me and my family. I will also get time to visit them all. After that I have the Mountain Bothies AGM in Newtonmore on Saturday and I am speaking in the Newtonmore Hall after it. So a busy few days I may get a walk and some of it will be down memory lane.

Dad In Church

I wonder what Dad would have thought of me speaking at the Church as many know I was a bit of a wild child then. I owe Mum and Dad so much they were such good people we had little money but a great life and wish they were still around to share and advise me.

A great influence on my life my Dad and Mum

A great influence on my life my Dad and Mum – sorry for being such a wild child.

Look after those you love every day! I was asked last night if I thought the mountains were spiritual to me in every sense they are. After a day out surrounded by nature especially wild places it is all around and we must treasure and love it.

  1. You always think your parents will be there for you – and then suddenly one day, they’re not 😦
