Thanks for all the words of comfort on this Anniversary of Lockerbie.

Many thanks for all the kind words today so appreciated so many good people about ! You are all in my thoughts!

A few comments today

“Heavy, it was hellish enough being there as a TV reporter. I witnessed a young Police Officer marking and covering body parts and felt the same way he did. But you and your colleagues went to Hell and back down that pit. I hope and trust your memories of this Christmas time will be of your lovely family and not a flashback to a hideous event. Love to you and yours.’ From a good pal

“Since being a 13 year old kid on her way to Aviemore for a family Christmas…I’ve never known what to say. The winter solstice should be one of celebration with days getting longer but for me the darkest day will, literally, last an eternity.”

“My thoughts are with you Heavy, even though I was not in the teams on that day. “We will never forget”Frank

“everyone will remember where they were on that awful night but no one actually knows the scars left on those who attended .special thoughts are being sent to you and all involved.” Jeannette
“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may your God hold you in the palm of his hand. ”
