Ted Atkins – his funeral to be held in his home in Italy. It will be a private family affair with a Celebration of Ted’s Life in the UK later .

This is the latest from the the family from Terry Moore.

The family are requesting a LOCAL cremation in Italy and have expressed that no one from the UK or elsewhere should try and attend, as this will be for the community of ALLEGHE, who have been exemplary in comforting the family.

It may be as soon as FRIDAY 24TH AUGUST. I know that certain mates will want to attend but the family does not want this. There will be a day of commemoration, most likely in Scotland in about a month, which would be a time to gather and reflect.

Please could you pass this on to all who knew Ted  and a huge thank you for all the lovely words to his memory.

I am sure in the days and months to come Shona and Lewis will take great comfort from you all. Please keep your thoughts and stories of Ted coming they are so important.
