Loch Ness and the river Findhorn

Loch Ness and heavy skies

I had a low-key weekend and due to the weather I stayed low-level. Two old friends John & Mary invited me out for Sunday lunch at Foyers after a wee walk near Loch Ness, the weather stayed fair and the meal was excellent, definitely recommended! I was supposed to be golfing today at Boat Of Garten but the course was flooded and I went along the Findhorn to see if there were any Salmon in the river as this should be the time of year that they come up the river. Unfortunately I never saw any but what an incredible walk with the river full of water after the heavy rain. The river is incredible with huge trees 20 feet up on the rocks where the force of the water has taken them, nature is so powerful. The forecast is pretty poor for tomorrow so I doubt it will be a quiet day. My email is down just now must have downloaded a virus on my hotmail account on working on fixing it! How much do we depend on computers!

October walk along the river Findhorn.
