Ben More Mull misty photos- Beinn Na Lap and another Munro compleatist.

John Mulgrew on the summit of Ben More

I just received a photo of John Mulgrew on the summit of his last Munro Ben More on Mull, John is a Golf professional Tutor for the PGA.  John hit a ball from the summit and on a wild day he said it went miles. John is raising cash for the Scottish Mountain Rescue Teams and SARDA through the website  Just giving. John was rescued two years ago after an accident in Kintail by the Mountain Rescue teams and is trying to give something back to them. On the subject of Munros another friend and his family Al Barnard climbed his last Munro at the weekend Beinn Na Lap a lovely Munro above Corrour Station, it seems they had a great weekend staying at the Youth Hostel with family and friends. It is wonderful to see these events becoming family affairs. Al has been a member of the RAF Kinloss MRT for many years and I have done many hills with him. Great to see they had a fun day, the train journey in and out seems to make this a special place to complete the Munros.

Photo – The Barnard family and friends on the summit of Beinn Na Lap. Snow forecast for the high hills tomorrow, winter is coming.
